Annales Mathematicae Silesianae publishes significant research and survey papers from all branches of pure and applied mathematics and reports of meetings. It welcomes contributed papers that develop important, new mathematical ideas and results or solve outstanding problems. Submissions are strictly refereed, and only articles of the highest quality are accepted for publication.

The journal does not have article processing charges or article submission charges.

Annales Mathematicae Silesianae is published by the University of Silesia Press (Poland). The first number of the journal appeared in 1985. Formerly (since 1969) it was published under the title Prace Naukowe Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach. Prace Matematyczne.

The Editorial Board participates in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscript screening to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.

New and original integral inequalities under monotonicity and convexity assumptions
Published: 2025-07-02
This article examines integral inequalities dealing with functions of the form “a function raised to the power of another function” under varying monotonicity and convexity assumptions. First, we...
Algebraic properties of semi-direct sums of rings
Published: 2025-06-02
Let R be an associative ring not necessarily with unity. We say that R is a semi-direct sum of rings S and I , if R = S + I , where S is a subring of a ring R , I is an ideal of R...

A note on bifurcation of equilibrium forms of a gas baloon parachute
Published: 2025-05-20
We will be concerned with deformations of a free elastic top rim of a parachute of a gas balloon. The top rim is connected with the circular deflation port of the balloon envelope by heavy duty...
Derivation pairs on rings and rngs
Published: 2025-05-20
We generalize a classical result about derivation pairs on function algebras. Specifically, we describe the forms of derivation pairs on rings and rngs (non-unital rings) which are not assumed to...
Global central limit theorems for stationary Markov chains
Published: 2025-05-20
Let P be a Markov operator on a general state space ( S , Σ) with an invariant probability measure m , assumed to be ergodic. We study conditions which yield that for every centered non-zero f...
