Annales Mathematicae Silesianae publishes significant research and survey papers from all branches of pure and applied mathematics and reports of meetings. It welcomes contributed papers that develop important, new mathematical ideas and results or solve outstanding problems. Submissions are strictly refereed, and only articles of the highest quality are accepted for publication.

The journal does not have article processing charges or article submission charges.

Annales Mathematicae Silesianae is published by the University of Silesia Press (Poland). The first number of the journal appeared in 1985. Formerly (since 1969) it was published under the title Prace Naukowe Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach. Prace Matematyczne.

The Editorial Board participates in a growing community of Similarity Check System's users to ensure that the content published is original and trustworthy. Similarity Check is a medium that allows for comprehensive manuscript screening to eliminate plagiarism and provide a high standard and quality peer-review process.

On a generalized conjecture by Alzer and Matkowski
Published: 2025-04-27
We study a recent conjecture proposed by Horst Alzer and Janusz Matkowski concerning a bilinearity property of the Cauchy exponential difference for real-to-real functions. The original conjecture...
Central limit theorem for random "contractive" functions on interval
Published: 2025-04-26
We use the approach from Czudek and Szarek (see [1]) to prove the central limit theorem for a stationary Markov chain generated by an iterative function system for a family of increasing,...
On (k_1A_1, k_2A_2, k_3A_3)-edge colourings in graphs and generalized Jacobsthal numbers
Published: 2025-04-26
In this paper we introduce a new kind of generalized Jacobsthal numbers in a distance sense. We give the identities and matrix representations for them and their connections with the Fibonacci and...
Central limit theorem for random dynamical system with jumps and state-dependent jump intensity
Published: 2025-03-09
In this work we focus on a dynamical system with jumps, where the intensity of the jumps depends on the system’s state. By verifying the assumptions of the theorem from [4], we show that our model...
Convex solutions of an iterative functional differential equation
Published: 2025-03-05
In this paper, by Schauder's fixed point theorem and the Banach contraction principle, we consider the existence, uniqueness, and stability of convex solutions of a nonhomogeneous iterative...
On various types of uniform rotundities
Published: 2025-03-04
In this study, we conduct a literature review on normed linear spaces whose strengths are between rotundity and uniform rotundity. In this discourse, we also explore inter-relationships and...
