Dariusz Kubok – Associate Professor of the University of Silesia in Katowice, currently serving as the Director of the Institute of Philosophy of his home University. An author of numerous publications, including, among others such monographs as The Problem of Apeiron and Peras in Pre-Socratic Philosophy (1998, in Polish), as well as Truth and Presumption. A Study in the Philosophy of Parmenides of Elea (2004, in Polish). His central areas of interest are the philosophy of antiquity and the history of ontological and epistemological reflection.
