The author of this short contribution – a priest of the diocese of Nanterre in the suburbs of Paris – points to the soteriological and ecclesial aspect of Christian reflection on the offense of religious feelings. Turning his attention to the still ongoing history of salvation revealed and accomplished in Jesus Christ, he focuses on the Council’s teaching on the Church as a community of believers and a space of fraternity among people.
