This review of Work in Progress. Konfrontacje trzeciego pokolenia po Zagładzie, a multiauthored volume consisting of seven chapters, focuses on how the third generation after the Shoah has been read in Poland and abroad, and, in this respect, it emphasises the innovative character of the book discussed. Work in Progress is an interdisciplinary volume comprised of various perspectives; even though it tackles issues not well known in Poland, it follows recent academic trends. Undoubtedly, the merits of this publication include: coherence, surprising dynamism, distrust in stereotypical thinking, timing and its focus.
