“Z Dziejów Prawa” (EN: “From the History of Law”) is a serial publication, issued as an annual publication featuring reviewed scholarly articles dedicated to the history of law, as well as source materials and reviews. The periodical was established in 1996 by Professor Adam Lityński, who for many years headed the Department of History of Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Silesia.

The journal publishes articles on the history of political system, history of administration, history of case law, Roman law, and history of political and legal doctrines.
