FOR AUTHORS

Before sending the text for publication, please read the ethical and publishing rules and reviewing rules in force in the journal "Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis". By sending the text for publication, you accept these rules and the following technical requirements.

Materials for printing should be sent by e-mail to the Editor's e-mail address: studiapoliticae@us.edu.pl

The text should be in the form of a standardized manuscript written in any popular text editor and saved in one of the following formats: .rtf, .doc, .docx, .odt, etc.

The volume of articles should not exceed 40,000 characters (including abstracts and bibliography).

Editorial requirements

Text composition:
Author's name and surname.

Title of the article and abstract in English (up to 900 characters).

Five keywords in English.

An introduction containing the aims and issues of the article along with their justification.

Methodological assumptions of the study, in particular questions posed.

Verified hypotheses, methods used, scope of the research field, etc.

Discussion of the state of research and discussion with the literature on the subject.

Presenting the results of own research.

Summary / conclusions.

Bibliography.


Author Note containing:

- name and surname together with the academic degree / title,
- name of the institution in which the Author is employed,
- contact details: email address, telephone number, correspondence address,
- ID in the ORCID science database,
- short biographical note, which should not exceed 200 characters.

In the case of reviews, provide: name, title, publisher, place and year of publication, total number of pages of the reviewed work.
The author's first and last name should be placed below the text.

Footnotes:

The journal has a standard for editing footnotes in the form of bibliographic references according to the APA standard.

The editors reserve the right to edit texts that do not meet the above requirements and to correct obvious errors and mistakes during the correction.

The authors of the articles do not receive any cash payments.
