A Scratch-Based Simulation of Virus Spread as a Constructionist E-Learning Project

Анотація

У статті представлено кейс-дослідження освітнього проєкту, розробленого в середовищі візуального програмування Scratch, у межах якого учениця створила симуляцію поширення вірусу в супермаркеті під час дистанційного навчання, спричиненого пандемією COVID-19. Проєкт є прикладом конструкціоністського навчання через створення цифрового артефакту, який інтегрує розвиток цифрових, обчислювальних і громадянських компетентностей. Було застосовано якісний підхід на основі кейс-дослідження, що включав аналіз артефакту (програмного коду), конкурсної документації та ретроспективного напівструктурованого інтерв’ю з авторкою проєкту.
Результати показують, що створення симуляції у простому програмному середовищі сприяло розвитку обчислювального мислення, саморегульованого навчання та рефлексії щодо соціальних аспектів пандемії. Проєкт дав змогу учениці не лише експериментувати з моделюванням епідеміологічних явищ, але й сформувати почуття відповідальності та громадянської свідомості шляхом аналізу наслідків людської поведінки в публічних просторах.
Дослідження містить рекомендації щодо ширшого впровадження конструкціоністських методів проєктного навчання у дистанційну та гібридну освіту, а також інтеграції соціальних симуляцій у навчальні програми з інформатики та громадянської освіти. Основне обмеження дослідження полягає в його одноразовому характері, що потребує подальших порівняльних досліджень у різних освітніх і культурних контекстах. Також пропонуються довготривалі дослідження впливу учнівських проєктів і ролі рефлексії після симуляцій (дебрифінгу). Отримані результати підтверджують, що навіть прості технології, засновані на ідеї «навчання через створення», можуть бути ефективним інструментом розвитку ключових компетентностей ХХІ століття в умовах електронного навчання.
