Artificial intelligence in (French) terminology – its “humanizing” properties

Abstract

For the analysis of the question in the title, I adopted a somewhat “simple” research path – it’s as if I were rediscovering 3 basic notions in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI): term, artificiality and intelligence.

The article is an attempt to develop conceptual plans both in the linguistic picture of the world of AI terminology and in their presence in the extralinguistic world (why does the term frequently change from “scientific” to “daily existence”, how and/or why does the term lose its linguistic “strangeness” etc?).

Study’s conclusions indicate that the “humanization” of AI is happening much faster than one might expect.
