The share of the modalization in the defrosting

Thouraya Ben Amor Logo ORCID

Abstract

The defrosted statement is a form of language production where the support of enunciation is not only particular, but above all very salient to the point where one could say that everything
is modalization in the defrosting, since it constitutes a dominant predication. However, few linguistic
studies specifically describe this phenomenon behind which there is a real complexity that manifests itself at the level of the various factors that participate interactively in the modal component whose aspects of grammatical type and lexical.

If the defrosting is accompanied by reworking of sequences with a certain fixity by including a subjectivity, the latter must, in principle, meet the general conditions of congruence ; between the marks of the modalisation inherent in the follow-up to the defrosting operation and those which follow it, we will seek to understand how aspectual and modal conflicts are managed according to the meaning of the enunciator of a defrosting. Knowing that defrosted statements necessarily subsumes three broad ontological categories: the person, space and time, is there a hierarchy within the modalities of action of verbal defrostings, even phrastic?
