Ethical principles

In accordance to the standards set for scientific journals by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Republic of Poland, the editorial office asks authors to disclose information about entities contributing to the publication (content-related, factual, financial contribution, etc.). The authors of the studies should present the results of their work in a transparent and reliable manner, regardless of whether they are its direct authors or if they used the assistance of a specialized entity (natural or legal person). "Ghostwriting" is a situation in which someone contributed to the publication, without revealing their participation as one of the authors or without mentioning his role in the acknowledgments included in the publication); "Guest authorship" is a situation in which the author's participation is negligible or did not take place at all, and yet he is the author / co-author of the publication). To prevent these undesirable phenomena, according to the above-mentioned guidelines of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the editors of the journal adopt the following principles:

 1) The authors of the publication should disclose the contribution of individuals to the publication (with affiliation and contribution, i.e. information, who is the author of the concepts, assumptions, methods, protocol, etc. used in the preparation of the publication), the main responsibility for the disclosed data is borne by submitting the study.

 2) In the case of ghostwriting and guest authorship, the editors document these cases and notify the institution employing the author and associations, teams and scientific societies of which he is a member.

 3) In the case of financing research used in publication, the author is obliged to indicate the source of financing.

The responsibilities of the editors, authors and reviewers of the journal are based on the COPE Code of Conduct. The editorial staff also respects the principles of Commitee on Publications Ethics.
