Streszczenie
Artykuł omawia nową powieść Zachara Prilepina Czarna małpa. Pojawia się w niej nowy bohater, mężczyzna, nie tak silny, prostolinijny i umiejący żyć, jak w poprzednich utworach tego autora. obecne już wcześniej w twórczości pisarza pytanie o dobro, zło i przemoc w świecie zostało tutaj wyostrzone przez konfrontację z żywiołową dziecięcą agresją oraz z tracącym grunt pod nogami głównym bohaterem. obrazowym ekwiwalentem parabolicznego przesłania utworu jawi się tytułowa czarna małpa, ilustrująca zwątpienie w postęp ludzkości.
THE PARABOLIC MONKEY OF ZAKHAR PRILEPIN
Summary
The article discusses the new novel by Zakhar Prilepin entitled The Black Monkey. It brings a new protagonist, a man who is not so strong, straightforward and vigorous as those of the previous works by the same author. The issues of the good, the evil and violence in the world, which were present earlier in the authors’ writing, emerge here even more poignantly in confrontation with the impulsive children’s aggression and the disorientation experienced by the main protagonist. The parabolic message of the work finds its image equivalent in the black monkey of the title, which embodies the serious misgivings about the progress of humanity.
