Streszczenie
Przedstawiając najważniejsze fakty wpływające na ewolucję literatury rosyjskiej od połowy lat pięćdziesiątych XX wieku, autor stawia tezę, że odwilż, mimo iż wpłynęła znacząco na ewolucję sposobu problematyzowania świata w literaturze oraz na zmianę poetyki (przekształcenia te określić można jako personalizację form literackich), nie miała ważnych konsekwencji w sferze ideowej i ideologicznej. Niezależnie od rangi przemian w dziedzinie literatury odwilż stanowiła w istocie przedsięwzięcie mające na celu legitymizowanie władzy i konserwowanie dotychczasowego sposobu uprawiania polityki.

Describing the most important facts that influenced the evolution of Russian literature since the mid-1950s, the author claims that even though it significantly affected the evolution of the conceptualization of the world in literature and the change in poetics (changes, which could all be described as a personlization of the literary forms), the thaw did not have important consequences in the ideological realm. Regardless of the stature of changes in literature, the thaw was fundamentally an enterprise aimed at legitimizing governmental authority and conserving the then-current method of doing politics.
