ХАРАКТЕР СТИЛИЗАЦИИ ПОД ДНЕВНИК В РАССКАЗЕ ВСЕВОЛОДА ГАРШИНА ТРУС

Резюме

В статье исследуется повествование рассказа, сделана попытка доказать, что произведение стилизовано под дневник согласно теории формального миметизма, разработанной Михалом Гловиньским. в ходе анализа указывается, что рассказ можно подразделить на три части: дневник главного героя как таковой, диалоги, введенные в дневник, которые являются главными проявлениями романных норм, а также эпилог, где используется повествование от третьего лица. Полагается, что роль в соединении этих частей рассказа выполняют цикли повторяющихся мотивов (нр. «математическая метафора», мотив ампутации, контраст «черное–белое»). Подчеркивается значение упомянутых образов для обоснованного толкования произведения, и на этом основании  ведется полемика с интерпретацией, разработанной советскими литературоведами.

THE CHARACTER OF DIARY ENTRIES METHOD IN VSEVOLOD GARSHIN’S STORY THE COWARD

Summary

This paper examines the narrative of the short story and tries to prove that it has been written in a diary form in accordance with Michal Glowinski’s theory of formal mimetics. The analysis provided that the story can be divided into three parts: the fictional diary of the main character as such, the dialogues present in the fictional diary, which are the most important signal of the novel conventions, and the epilogue, which uses third-person narra-tive. It is argued that these parts of the story are connected thanks to recurring motifs (eg. “mathematical image”, amputation motif, contrast of black and white). The role these motifs play for the interpretation of the story is emphasized. Hence, on this ground polemic with the interpretation created by the Soviet literary critics is led.
