Streszczenie
Autorka świadoma odrębności myślenia filozofa i filologa analizuje temat śmierci w dziełach Jurija Łotmana, Rolandasa Pavilionisa oraz Aleksandra Piatigorskiego. Podkreśla, że zaistniał on w pracach wymienionych autorów bez religijnego podtekstu, w wymiarze czysto fenomenologicznym. Artykuł poszerzony został o refleksje na tytułowy temat z twórczości Władysława Chodasiewicza, Anny Achmatowej oraz Meraba Mamardaszwili.

Summary
Aware of the distinctiveness of the thinking of the philosopher and the philologist, the author has extracted the theme of death from the texts of Yuri Lotman, Rolandas Pavilionis, Aleksandr Piatigorsky, emphasizing that it has appeared in the works of these writers without any religious background, in the purely phenomenological dimension. The article is broadened with reflections on the works concerning the title theme authored by Vladislav Khodasevich, Anna Akhmatova and Merab Mamardaszvili.
