“Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis”, ISSN 2353-9747 (electronic version), is a semi-annual academic journal affiliated with the Institute of Political Science at the University of Silesia in Katowice. The journal aims to promote empirical research on politics. It focuses primarily on the forms and mechanisms through which the state addresses key social problems in cooperation with representatives of various interest groups, particularly at the local and regional levels.

The journal provides immediate open access to its content, supporting the global exchange of knowledge. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA) license.

The journal is co-owned by the University of Silesia Press and the Association of Graduates of the University of Silesia in Katowice.

There are no fees for authors for submitting manuscripts, peer review, publication, archiving, or full-text access.
