CALL FOR PAPERS_2023

"Z Teorii i Praktyki Dydaktycznej Języka Polskiego", volume 32.

Volume title: Educational worldviews of school and university. Teaching Polish as a commitment

We invite researchers to prepare the texts for the 32nd issue of "Z Teorii i Praktyki Dydaktycznej Języka Polskiego", which we would like to dedicate to Professor Bernadeta Niesporek-Szamburska, an outstanding researcher and language teacher. She was always associated with the Department of Didactics of Polish Language and Literature at the University of Silesia. Currently, she is the director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Research in Humanities Education. The forthcoming volume of ZTiPDJP is an expression of gratitude for the joint work.

Here are the proposed thematic circles referring to the broad research interests of Professor Bernadeta-Niesporek-Szamburska:

  • the language of students – in the field of educational linguistics,
  • language and style of texts for children,
  • child's text – children's creativity and its stimulation, text-creation competence, language games and games, senses, synesthesia, emotions in the child's language and text,
  • educational discourse: communication between teacher and student,
  • linguistic picture of the world of children, linguistic and cultural stereotypes,
  • children, language acquisition and the media, children's language and communication competence,
  • educating future Polish language teachers,
  • neuro-didactics,
  • eco(glotto) didactics,
  • intercultural dialogue, a student with a migration context, bilingualism,
  • teaching Polish as a native, foreign, second and inherited language.

In the issue we anticipate a 'varia' section.

We invite researchers and teachers of language and literature and glottodidactics to think over the indicated problems and to send proposals for articles (working titles and short descriptions) by 31st January 2023 to the editorial office: ztipdjp@us.edu.pl. We are waiting for texts until 28th  February 2023. Guidelines for submitting texts can be found in the tab on the OJS UŚ website of our journal: https://journals.us.edu.pl/index.php/TPDJP/about/submissions

Submitted articles are initially assessed by the editorial staff. The final approval for publication is determined by the evaluation of two independent reviewers (double-blind peer review).
