AIMS AND SCOPE

The journal is dedicated to issues within criminal law and related disciplines, in particular:

  • substantive criminal law,
  • criminal procedural law,
  • criminal executive law,
  • forensic science,
  • criminology,
  • international criminal law and procedure,
  • comparative criminal law and procedure,
  • fiscal criminal law and procedure,
  • misdemeanour law and proceedings,
  • issues related to criminal compliance,
  • interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of criminal law and other fields, particularly medicine and forensic sciences.

Each issue of the journal includes contributions addressing current developments in criminal law and criminal procedure, with particular emphasis on legislative changes and the evolution of legal doctrine. The journal also publishes analyses of controversial legal issues and debates surrounding theoretical constructs within the field of criminal justice.

The journal adopts an interdisciplinary approach.

Its aim is to provide a forum for academic debate, exchange of scholarly views, and dissemination of research findings in the field of criminal law and related disciplines.
