SUBMISSIONS INSTRUCTIONS

Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts should be submitted to the editorial office at: problemypk@us.edu.pl

Authors are required to provide the following information:

  • institutional affiliation,
  • e-mail address,
  • contact phone number,
  • ORCID identifier (if available),
  • bibliography prepared in accordance with the journal’s style guidelines,
  • an abstract in both Polish and English (minimum 550 characters, maximum 1000 characters; longer abstracts may be accepted for articles exceeding the standard length requirements),
  • keywords in both Polish and English (minimum 4 keywords).

Length requirements

  • articles: 20,000–40,000 characters (including spaces); articles intended for the “Studies” section may exceed the specified limit,
  • case notes (glosses): 10,000–20,000 characters (including spaces),
  • book reviews: up to 12,000 characters (including spaces).

Technical requirements

Manuscripts should be prepared:

  • in Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx) or OpenOffice format,
  • in 12-point font,
  • with 1.5 line spacing,
  • using italics instead of underlining (except for hyperlinks).

All tables, figures, and illustrations should be placed in appropriate locations within the text and properly labelled.

The manuscript must comply with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements specified in the “Instructions for Authors” section. Authors are also required to provide the title, abstract, and keywords in both Polish and English.

Ethical standards and peer review process

Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.

All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review process.

To ensure anonymity during the review process, authors must remove any information that could identify them from the manuscript.

Open Access policy

The journal is published in an Open Access model. Authors are not charged any submission, processing, or publication fees.

The journal publishes peer-reviewed scholarly articles in the indicated field, prepared by academic staff and legal practitioners, as well as students and doctoral candidates.

The journal does not accept articles outside its scope.
