PEER REVIEW PROCESS

  • Submission implies acceptance of the peer review process.
  • All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening for:
    • relevance to the journal scope,
    • academic quality and originality,
    • compliance with formal requirements.
  • Manuscripts passing screening are subject to double-blind peer review.
  • Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent external reviewers holding a PhD or equivalent qualification.
  • Reviewers are not affiliated with the author’s institution.
  • Reviewers are selected by the Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board.
  • The review process is based on a standardized evaluation form.
  • The process ensures full anonymity of authors and reviewers.
  • Editorial decisions include:
    • acceptance,
    • revision required (minor or major),
    • rejection.
  • In case of conflicting reviews, an additional independent reviewer may be appointed.
  • Authors must respond to reviewers’ comments.
  • The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
  • Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting and final author approval.
  • Authors are responsible for the final content of their published work.
  • A list of reviewers is published annually on the journal’s website.
  • The typical time from submission to publication is 3–6 months.
