Die Analyse des vorliegenden empirischen Ausgangsmaterials ergab, dass die Sachkenntnis des kerigmatischen Modells bei den Katecheten in einem grösseren Ausmass besteht als das Verständnis, worauf eigentlich das Wesen der anthropologisch ausgerichteten Katechese beruht. Nur ein kleiner Teil der Katecheten mit der längsten Praxis ist weiterhin für eine neoscholastische Katechese. Die Unterschiede in Fortschritt der Erneuerung sind von den Katecheten selbst abhängig (Priester, Laien, Ordensfrauen), von der Dauer ihrer Praxis und vom Milieu (Dorf, Kleinstadt, Grosstadt). Auf Grund eines statistischen Testes „chi” im Quadrat (χ2) kann gefolgert werden, dass die stärkste Abhängigkeit zwischen dem Umfang der Realisierung der Erneuerung und der Dauer der Praxis in der Katechese besteht (Jüngere realisieren sie in grösserem Ausmass). Einen etwas kleineren Einfluss auf diese Abhängigkeit hat die Person der Katecheten, (Priester besitzen bessere theoretische Kenntnisse der Erneuerung. Laien verwirklichen sie in einem grösseren Ausmass in ihrer Tätigkeit), die kleinste Bedeutung dagegen hat das Milieu.
Das Niveau der Katechese ist letztlich von der Mentalität der Zuhörer abhängig, von der Atmosphäre in ihren Familien, aber auch von der Persönlichkeit des Katecheten selbst, also seiner Kompetenz, seiner geistlichen und ethischen Reife. Deshalb sollten die Katecheten einer permanenten Bildung unterliegen, sie selbst sollten sich um ihre Fortbildung sorgen, die christliche Haltung eines Glaubenszeugen und Glaubensanimators pflegen und einen Selbstbildungsprozess aufnehmen.
Um den Dualismus zwischen Glauben und Leben auszugleichen, sollte von jeglichem Uniformismus in der Katechese Abstand genommen werden und neue Wege in Richtung eines Pluralismus und einer Inkulturation eingeschlagen werden, also der ganze psychologisch-gesellschaftliche und kulturelle Zusammenhang als Konsequenz einer anthropologischen Ausrichtung der nachkonziliaren Katechese berücksichtigt werden.
Die weitere kritische und achtsame Betrachtung der katechetischen Tätigkeit in den Gemeinden ist Bedingung des Fortschrittes in der Katechese, welche neuen Herausforderungen einer immer vom Ideal entfernten Wirklichkeit gerecht werden soll.
