Neurosciences in education. New possibilities in the teaching‑learning process

Abstract

In the paper a theoretical concept of the neurosciences and particularly, neurodidactics, based on the cognitivistics and involving the recent results of the human brain studies and connected with them a theory of thinking processes, have been presented. What was taken into account was a type of intelligence represented by a learner, an emotional intelligence creating in a didactic process the right psycho-emotional states, modality, and the shaped styles of learning. Practical implementation of the neurodidactics concept at all the levels of teaching in learning society can be an effective means against a weakness of the Polish school, reflecting in the results of the PIRLS and PISA tests, diagnosing the functional skills of the students.
