She was an English teacher at the Higher School of Economics in Katowice, the University of Warsaw and the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw for over half a century (1951-2003). Initially, she tried to work creatively in the field of applied linguistics. However, she became famous as an author and translator of religious literature, directing her own works and numerous translations from English and French into supporting the charismatic renewal movement, promoting the work of Saint Teresa of Lisieux and Blessed Charles de Foucauld, whose idea of "little brothers" was supported by establishing and leading Fraterni Jesus Caritas in Poland. Her achievements and attitude are significant for modern Catholicism, which is why they are worth reminding, disseminating and imitating.
