Apocatástasis realizzata, attuale e futura nella tradizione biblica e patristica prima di Origene

Abstract

Nel Nuovo Testamento il definitivo rinnovamento annunciato dai profeti si presenta in tre modi: l’apocatastasi già realizzata dall’opera salvifica di Gesù Cristo, quella attuale che si compie continuamente per mezzo della missione dei suoi discepoli e quella futura che sarà realizzata in modo definitivo nella parusia. L’oggetto di questo rinnovamento è la liberazione dell’uomo dal dominio del male e la sua sottomissione a Dio. Nei padri apostolici l’apocatastasi viene riferita al rinnovamento attuale del regno di Dio nei cuori umani. Negli apologeti si nota uno sviluppo dell’idea. In Giustino accanto alla dimensione attuale è messo in risalto il rinnovamento avvenuto nell’opera di Cristo. La stessa concezione viene accentuata da Ireneo. Teofilo di Antiochia arriva a parlare della sua dimensione futura avvicinandosi così a Origene. Il rinnovamento consiste nel ritorno allo stato anteriore al peccato originale. Per Taziano esso già è universale e definitivo e si realizza nella risurrezione dei corpi: „creazione” di un corpo nuovo e immortale.
