"Śląskie Studia Historyczno-Teologiczne" ("Silesian Historical and Theological Studies" – in short, SSHT) is a scientific periodical associated with the Faculty of Theology of the University of Silesia in Katowice. Pursuant to the title of the journal, works on history and theology are published in it. The presented historical issues are limited to the broadly understood history of Silesia, not just the Church in Silesia, and the fate of the people who currently live in Silesia. The area of theology is widely covered in the journal. It covers both the traditional canon of theological sub-disciplines as well as issues from the border of theology and other scientific disciplines. In this way, interdisciplinary research is promoted, concerning the meeting of theology with philosophy, social sciences, as well as with exact sciences and, finally, in a broader sense, with various areas of culture.
