The article presents a case study of a patient with functional hyperfunctional dysphonia. Referring to the subject literature, it characterizes the definition of hyperfunctional dysphonia and describes the biomechanics of the vocal tract. The importance of collaboration within an interdisciplinary team is highlighted. The vocal characteristics of a patient with hyperfunctional dysphonia are specified. An example of a neurologopedic rehabilitation plan is presented, which includes manual laryngeal therapy and LAX VOX therapy. A comparison is made between the initial examination results and the results after 4 months of speech therapy rehabilitation to assess the effectiveness of the undertaken rehabilitation actions.
