Dear Authors, Reviewers, Friends of the journal „Theory and Practice of Polish Language Teaching”

We are happy to announce that our journal has just been accepted to two international databases. Thus we have become a periodical that is present in the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), which contains nearly 17 500 peer-reviewed open access journals, covering all fields of science, and the MLA International Bibliography. The MLA International Bibliography is an essential tool for research in all aspects of modern languages and literature. Available as a searchable online database of more than 3 million records and constantly updated by scholars in the field, the bibliography is used by academics and teachers around the world to find and share their work.

The editors have also applied to two other databases “Web of Science” and “Sherpa Romeo”, which we hope will be also successful. All this will result in an greater visibility, impact and citations of the articles published in the journal. Naturally, it should also increase the number of ministerial points awarded to „Theory and Practice of Polish Language Teaching” during the journal evaluation.
