The Journal “Labour Law and Social Policy Issues” publishes academic articles and studies on labour law, social policy, and social security. It is the continuation of earlier academic volumes under the same title, the last of which was published in 2008. It is addressed to a wide audience: scholars, practitioners, lawyers, social policy experts, policymakers, as well as PhD candidates and students. The main criterion for publication is the academic quality of the text and its alignment with the Journal’s profile.

The scope includes employment relations, working time, remuneration, employee rights, collective labour law, social policy, and international and EU law. Articles are published in Polish and English, fully open access online.

The Journal is co-owned by the University of Silesia Press and the Association of Alumni of the University of Silesia in Katowice, and is indexed in ERIH PLUS, BazHum, and CEEOL. All papers are available free of charge at: https://journals.us.edu.pl/index.php/ZPPPIPS
