About the Journal

Prawne Problemy Górnictwa i Ochrony Środowiska (PPGiOŚ) [title in English: "Legal Issues in Mining and Environmental Protection"] is a continuation of "Prawne Problemy Górnictwa" – a journal edited by faculty members of the Department of Mining Law and Environmental Protection Law, whose last issue came out in 1995.

The journal is addressed to a wide spectrum of authors (representing both practice and theory, as well as Ph.D. candidates and students) and readers interested in the issues in question.

The journal publishes the results of research in the field of widely understood environmental protection law. The aim of the journal is to provide a comprehensive forum for publishing the achievements and exchanging scientific ideas not only from Poland but also from other countries. This international cooperation aims to present the latest achievements and environmental initiatives in the international dimension, becoming a field for joint research, resulting in various de lege ferenda proposals.

The main criterion for accepting an article is its substantive value and consistency with the journal's thematic profile, which is broadly defined as environmental protection law.
