Recently, she has been dealing with the culinary heritage of the countryside. Her interests also include the organization, management and marketing of contemporary cultural institutions. For years, she has been associated with the Polish Ethnographic Atlas laboratory and has been a member of the Polish Ethnological Society and the Food Anthropology section of the Polish Ethnological Society. Magdalena Szalbot, PhD, cultural anthropologist, Assistant Professor, PhD at the Institute of Culture Studies at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She has written 40 papers in Polish and English. The project coordinator: Cultural Ecology - Specialization at the Field of Ethnology, supported by a grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants and co-financed by the Polish funds, member of The Polish Ethnological Society (PTL), branch in Cieszyn and Games Research Association of Poland (PTBG). Research activity concerns problems of ludus (anthropology of play, polish and european folk games, TSG), urban anthropology, ethnicity, migration, ecology, borderlands, and multiculturalism. Anna Pilśniak, MA is a Polish editor with more than ten years of experience, currently employed at the University of Silesia Publishing House. She has worked at the Museum of Art and History of Judaism in Paris. She’s a graduate from the Jagiellonian University with a MA in Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology and a postgraduate from the University of Silesia in Katowice in Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language.

Supervisor of the Scientific Group of Ethnologists, author of scientific articles. Member of the Stanislaw Andres Scientific Society, member of the Polish Folklore Society, Cieszyn Branch.
