Abstract

Phoneme as a prototype and radial category. Cognitive conception The subject matter of the study is the presentation of questions which are connected with the notion of the phoneme. The authoress intention was to approach the reader not only with the meaning of this notion but to show how differently it can be understood and what role it plays regarding the usage of a language. The effect of presented considerations is the presentation of own capture of a phoneme with the help of chosen principles of cognitive linguistics, particularly the theory of prototypes.

UŚ dr hab., pracownik Zakładu Socjolingwistyki i Społecznych Praktyk Komunikowania Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach, a także czynny logopeda, pracujący w poradni logopedycznej Zakładu Ortodoncji Katedry Stomatologii Wieku Rozwojowego Śląskiego Uniwersytetu Medycznego w Katowicach. Jej zainteresowania naukowe koncentrują się na problematyce diagnozy i terapii logopedycznej dzieci z wadami twarzoczaszki, w tym wczesnej interwencji, rozwoju czynności przestrzeni orofacjalnej, patofonetyki, a także zaburzeń wymowy w kontekście logopedii artystycznej. Jest redaktorem naczelnym czasopisma „Forum Logopedyczne”. Od 2007 roku jako członek wchodzi w skład Komisji Rozwoju i Zaburzeń Mowy Komitetu Językoznawstwa PAN. W 2009 roku została powołana do Komisji ds. Neurologopedii, funkcjonującej przy Ministerstwie Zdrowia. Od wielu lat jest działaczem Polskiego Towarzystwa Logopedycznego, obecnie pełni funkcję zastępcy przewodniczącego ZG PTL. W swoim dorobku ma trzy monografie i ponad pięćdziesiąt artykułów opublikowanych w Polsce i za granicą.
