„Rusycystyczne Studia Literaturoznawcze” ("Russian Studies in Literature") is a reviewed annual of monographic type. It continues (after few years of break) „Rusycystyczne Studia Literaturoznawcze Uniwersytetu Śląskiego” a journal that was published since 1970s of 20th century. Each issue includes texts devoted to a specific problem and inspiring reflexion within traditional literary studies and interdisciplinary approach to the problems of Russian and Russian-speaking literature. The Editorial Board publishes articles, sketches, translations, essays, reviews, polemics and reports in Polish, Russian and English languages.

Our journal has been granted 20 points as a result of the parametric evaluation carried out by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2021. "RSL" is also listed in the European Reference Index for the Humanities and Social Sciences (ERIH+), Index Copernicus Journal Master List (with the impact factor ICV 2020 = 63.47) and  it is also indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) . "Rusycystyczne Studia Literaturoznawcze" 2026/36 (anti-utopias)

The editorial board of "Russian Literary Studies" ("Rusycystyczne Studia Literaturoznawcze") invites submissions for issue 36, to be published in 2026.

The main theme of the upcoming issue is anti-utopias and dystopias in Russian literature. We welcome articles analyzing both classic and contemporary Russian works on this topic. The full CFP is available at the link below.

Submissions are accepted until 28 February 2025. Articles (up to 40,000 characters) should be submitted via the OJS platform:
