In 2018, 'Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis' adopted the formula of a peer-reviewed quarterly whose only version is an electronic version published in open access in the Central and Eastern European Online Library (www.ceeol.com) and at the University of Silesia Press (www.journals.us.edu).
Volume 26 of the quarterly 'Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis' (2019) distinguishes from the previous language, as the articles contained in the volume are written in English or have been translated into that language. The current edition, like the previous volumes, gathers texts in several - this time three - thematic sections. In the first 'Public Policies' the reader will find a study by Agnieszka Kulesa on the policy of integration of foreigners, especially migrants. In the 'International Relations' section, János Besenyő analyzed the participation of Hungarians in the Spanish Legions during the Spanish-Moroccan war of 1921-1926. The topic of Poland's foreign policy in the post-Cold War period in the context of its location between Russia and Germany was taken up by Mieczysław Stolarczyk. Włodzimierz Wątor described the impact of weapons of mass destruction on international security in the second decade of the 21st century. 'Social and Political Communication' is a section containing a study by Dariusz Krawczyk explaining the perception of the profession of journalist in the context of the dissemination of fake news by official and social media.
