The Editorial Office of the journal Zoophilologica announces a competition for the title of the thematic issue 2/2027. The theme will be selected from the submitted proposals, and the author of the winning concept will become the editor of this issue.

You are invited to submit proposals in the field of Human–Animal Studies by February 28, 2026. Submissions should be sent by email to: justyna.tymieniecka-suchanek@us.edu.pl, with the subject line: "Competition for a Thematic Issue." Please include:

• proposed title of the issue,
• brief substantive description,
• name and surname, academic degree/title, affiliation,
• short biographical note,
• contact email address.

We encourage all Zoophilologica supporters and researchers working in HAS to spread the word about the competition.
