Abstract
The jubilee chronicle of the Postgraduate Studies of Logopedics of The Silesian University in Katowice (1993–2013)dr nauk humanistycznych, pedagog, neurologopeda, nauczyciel akademicki. Autor Zmodyfikowanego Programu Psychofizjologicnej Terapii Jąkających się, opracowanego na podstawie wieloletnich doświadczeń w pracy terapeutycznej z jąkającymi się oraz wiedzy i umiejętności zdobytych w czasie licznych szkoleń i staży u uznanych specjalistów, m.in. w zakresie terapii jąkania i zaburzeń głosu w ośrodkach logopedyczno-foniatrycznych w Berlinie Zachodnim, Monachium, Londynie, Oksfordzie. Jego zainteresowania naukowe koncentrują się na problematyce klinicznych i logopedycznych zagadnień niepłynności mowy (opublikował kilkadziesiąt opracowań na temat różnych aspektów jąkania). Jest zasłużonym działaczem Polskiego Towarzystawa Logopedycznego, wieloletnim zastępcą przewodniczącego ZG PTL oraz wieloletnim przewodniczącym SO PTL.
