European Green Deal and the 8th EAP accelerated transformation of socio-economic life towards Circular Economy. Waste management may serve as an example illustrating this progression. The transfigurations of EU waste law, motivated by it, are designed in the light of the concept of Extended Producer Responsibility. The aim of the article is to use waste management as a case study of the legal aspects of integrated environmental approach applied in that regard. After enactment of the EGD and the new Circular Economy Action Plan, these aspects can already be identified.

The Environmental Protection Law and the Act on the provision of information on the environment and its protection, public participation in environmental protection and on environmental impact assessments, as well as other acts in the field of environmental protection law provide that in certain situations, in addition to paper documentation, its record should be presented on IT data carriers. This solution does not take into account the scientific and technical progress that is being made in the field of ICT capabilities and may raise various practical technical problems.

This article is a comprehensive analysis of the legal status of rainwater and snowmelt. The study will attempt to distinguish these waters in an objective way, identify their specific legal context and, finally, establish their civil law status. Incidentally, the issues related to the acquisition of ownership of rainwater and snowmelt by property owners, treatment and use of these waters.

Forests play vital roles in the environment and the economy. At the same time, they influence and are influenced by climate changes, in multidimensional manners. The present article constitutes an attempt to describe and assess the actual response of the international and the EU law to the question about the role of forests in the climate policy.

In the presented study, the author raised the issue of forensic science in revealing and securing traces left at the scene of the commission of forest damage. She characterizes both the essence of forest damage, its types and statistics of these acts in recent years, and a forensic examination of traces at the scene of the incident, along with a description of those most often performed at such acts. Considerations in this regard included forensic trace research in the fields of traseology, mechanoscopy and osmology.

Directive 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of October 23, 2019 on the protection of persons reporting breaches of EU law poses new challenges for the Member States of the European Union. This act has a real impact not only on the situation and functioning of various public bodies and institutions, but also on entrepreneurs. At the same time, it covers a wide range of applications. One of such areas is environmental protection. At the same time, the directive uses many underspecified phrases, undoubtedly very interesting from the point of view of their interpretation, including those which names are known to EU and national legislation, but gives them a different meaning. It should be reconstructed separately for the purposes of applying this particular legal act and the implementing provisions. It is also not possible to automatically transfer the case law or doctrinal views developed on the basis of the existing practice for the purposes of applying the provisions on the protection of persons reporting breaches of EU law.
