Description of speech disorders the first way of logopedic treatment
The paper presents a description of speech disorders, in particular those concerning phoneme
realization. The author provides a review of different methods in describing speech defects with
regard to phoneme realization and she points out to pros and cons of these methods. She also formulates
her own proposal for the description of speech impediments taking into account all phonetic
categories.
Disorders of speech development in children with deformity of the skull

Importance of speech therapy in preachers’ training

The aim of the study was to show the meaning and function of the signals in the development onomatopeic communication skills of children with a diagnosis of disabilities linked. Developing communication skills in children with disabilities coupled is not easy, but necessary. Gregg’s team as a challenge to the theory and practice speech therapy. Case Study
This article is an attempt to share their experiences obtained in the course of speech therapy
work with children profoundly handicapped, which soon after thorough clinical diagnosis changed,
calling them children of a team of Gregg. The first part of article I described is relatively rare occurring
in children, with different symptoms disorder caused by rubella virus. Looking for an answer to the
question about the nature of the disorder, concentrated on specialist literature and the results of their
own trials and speech therapy practice. In the second part of the paper I decided to share their experiences
those obtained step by step on how to work with them – as children with a diagnosis of Gregg’s
team. For example, the selected case study – I tried to show the results of speech therapy struggle. However,
the results of several multi-profile treatment of the interesting group of people with a diagnosis of
Gregg, I treated as a new challenge to the theory and practice of speech therapy.
Speech disorder after brain damages in aphasia – case study
Cranial-cerebral traumas are a serious sociomedical issue. Brain damages, caused by experienced
injury, often lead to various kinesthetic deficits, as well as to cognitive and language disorders.
Due to the damage of a nervous system, there are many deep speech disorders such as aphasia, mainly
senso-motorical type. The right evaluation of the appearing deficits, the right definition of therapeutical
objectives and implementing of the therapy can give brain trauma patients the chance to regain the
possibility to communicate.
The introduction of Alternative and Facilitating Methods of Communication of
a child suffering from cerebral palsy This article brings up the issue of communication difficulties for people with various disabilities. In the theoretical part it widely explains the rise and development of alternative and supportive methods of communication, and it describes various forms of non-verbal means of communicating. The second part of this article constitutes a case study of a thirteen-year-old mute girl who was taught communicating with application of non-verbal methods, and it also includes a short description of the methods used in working with the child. The course of therapeutic action is to be found in “The Supporting Materials, Didactic Visual aids and Reports” Logopedii Silesiany part.
Pet therapy in the work of a logoped
The article concerns talking the adventage of a therapy with the participation of a dog in
the work of logoped. It presents the terminology connected with the pet therapy. The author describes
a therapy model of dyslalia and oligophasia with talking adventage of a dog as a therapeut. In introduses
into anissve of the pet therapy, which can be a form of the multisensory stimulation to teaching.
Specialist therapeutic holiday for those who stammer – organization and effects of therapy
The author presents the effects of therapy of people taking part in specialist therapeutic holiday
for those who stammer, which constitute a coherent system of therapeutic activities performed
in accordance with the assumptions of “The Modified Programme of Psychophysiological Therapy of
Stammering People” by dr M. Chęciek. The material contains the results of diagnoses (preliminary and
final) of the Level of Logophobia and the Frequency level of stammering by adult participants of the
holiday XI/XII 2008, VIII 2009, XI/XII 2009.
Types of relaxation techniques in therapy of stammering
The article describes types of relaxation techniques witch are used In therapy of stammering people conducted on the base of Modified Psychohysiological Therapy of Stammering People Program by dr M. Chęciek. As a matter of fact the article presents the work of therapists who used the method during the specialist periods for stammering people organized by the Specialist Center for Speech Disfluencies in Wodzisław Śląski. It presents who to perform those techniques, shows their application and benefits.
