In 2018, 'Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis' adopted the formula of a peer-reviewed quarterly which only version is an electronic version published in open access in the Central and Eastern European Online Library (www.ceeol.com) and at the University of Silesia Press (www.journals.us.edu).
Volume 25 of the quarterly 'Studia Politicae Universitatis Silesiensis' (2019) - like previous volumes - collects texts in several thematic sections. In the first "Political theory and political thought" the reader will find a study by Marcela Gruszczyk on the youngest member of the Legislative Sejm of the Second Polish Republic. In the "Political Systems" section, Natalia Rudakiewicz conducts a comparative analysis of the Polish and Ukrainian democratic transformation. The topic of consolidation of democracy in Poland was raised by Marek Tyrała. In turn, Łukasz Wielgosz discusses the issue of petition law in poviat cities of the Śląskie Voivodeship. In the "International relations" section Arkadiusz Domagała introduces aspects of operations in defence of Yezidi. "Social and political communication" is a section containing two studies. Dariusz Krawczyk characterizes the management of media relations activities as part of the organization's information policy, and Bernardyna Zemła deals with the issue of receiving Polish-Jewish relations in the weekly 'Polityka' and 'Network' in the light of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the events of March 1968.
